Things Get Biblical in The Bear Season 5 Trailer
Hold Onto Your Plates!
Well, well, the first trailer for the grand finale of The Bear is finally here, and let me tell you, things are about to get wet and wild in the restaurant world! Our favorite financially-challenged crew is facing a biblical deluge, just as Carmy (played by the dashing Jeremy Allen White) decides it’s time to find out who he really is when he’s not tied to a stove. Spoiler alert: a flooded restaurant is just the cherry on top of their chaotic lives!
Uncle Jimmy’s Big Announcement
And just when you think it can’t get crazier, Uncle Jimmy (the ever-comical Oliver Platt) throws another curveball by wanting to sell the eatery! I mean, really, Uncle Jimmy? Can’t you give these guys a break?
The Stakes Are High!
FX dropped this dramatic logline for the season that could just use a few more exclamation points: “With no funds in sight, a looming sale, and a storm that would make Noah reconsider, our new partners must rally the troops for one last service, all while dreaming of snagging that elusive Michelin star. Spoiler alert: they might just discover that a restaurant’s true perfection isn’t all about the food, but rather about the fabulous folks running it!” Sounds deep, right?
Picking Up Right Where We Left Off
Oh, and guess what? This season kicks off right after the cliffhanger of the season four finale! So, Sydney, Richie, and Sugar are dealing with this shocking revelation that Carmy has handed over the keys to the kingdom – I mean, who wouldn’t have questions after THAT twist?
Flashbacks and Family Drama
So, we also had this one-off special called Gary back in May, where we jumped back in time and joined Mikey (the very missed Jon Bernthal) and Richie (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) on a road trip. Talk about a trip down memory lane! During this rollercoaster, Mikey had a mini breakdown and worried about being a terrible father—just what every expecting dad wants to hear right before the big day! The special ended on edge with Richie getting T-boned by a car. No biggie, just your average day in the The Bear universe!
What About Our Favorite Characters?
Now, glance over at the trailer for season five, and you’ll see that Richie is looking sprightly and unscathed after that accident. Can’t wait to see what shenanigans he and the gang get up to this time!
The Journey So Far
The first season of The Bear was a smash hit, scoring a perfect 100% on Rotten Tomatoes. Season two was close behind at 99%, but sadly, seasons three and four had fans feeling like the show was cooling down faster than a forgotten dish in the microwave.
Mark Your Calendars!
So, if you want to join the chaotic fun, make sure to tune in on June 25 for the premiere of season five, streaming on Hulu/FX and also on Hulu with Disney+. Trust me, you won’t want to miss it!
