Defenders Assemble for Daredevil: Born Again Season 3

Defenders Assemble for Daredevil: Born Again Season 3

April 6, 2026

Defenders Unite!

Well, well, well! It looks like our favorite heroes are back in action as Mike Colter and Finn Jones have jumped back into the fray alongside the ever-fierce Krysten Ritter on the set of Daredevil: Born Again Season 3! Sporting some wildly stylish black hooded cloaks, these two seemed to think they could sneak in incognito. Spoiler: they didn’t. As a reminder, Colter is our bulletproof buddy Luke Cage, and Jones is the master of mystical kung-fu, Danny Rand, aka Iron Fist. Talk about a superhero glow-up!

Reunited and It Feels So Good

Ritter is back in her iconic role as Jessica Jones, which is always a treat. The trio of Colter, Jones, and Ritter might just have us feeling all kinds of nostalgic as they prepare for a sort of “Defenders” reunion. I mean, if you wanted a reason to binge-watch Netflix all over again, this could be it!

From Defenders to Daredevils

Now, let’s rewind a bit! The last time we saw these characters together was back in Marvel’s The Defenders miniseries in 2017, which was supposed to be the superhero team-up to end all team-ups! Unfortunately, it didn’t quite sizzle as expected. Many fans left feeling a bit… underwhelmed? It seems we were all hoping for an epic showdown of heroes, and instead, we got a lukewarm casserole of nostalgia. Fingers crossed that Born Again Season 3 hits the right notes this time around!

What’s the Buzz on Season 2?

At the moment, Marvel is just warming up with Season 2, where our beloved Matt Murdock (played by the ever-dashing Charlie Cox) is currently laying low. Why you ask? Well, thanks to Mayor Wilson Fisk (the not-so-friendly Vincent D’Onofrio) unleashing his Anti-Vigilante Task Force to capture all vigilantes in the big apple, including our guy, Daredevil. I mean, can’t a blind superhero catch a break?

Jessica’s Role and Some Upcoming Projects

As for Jessica Jones? We don’t know too much yet, but she’s set to step up to the plate and be Matt’s sidekick – think of her role as akin to the Punisher in Season 1. When Season 2 wraps up, fans won’t have to wait too long before they can sink their teeth into the special presentation of The Punisher: One Last Kill, coming to Disney+ on May 12. This will lead us into the highly anticipated Spider-Man: Brand New Day on July 31!

Marvel’s Busy Schedule

But that’s not all, folks! It’s shaping up to be an action-packed year for Marvel. They’ve got the big blockbuster Avengers: Doomsday hitting theaters this December, plus the VisionQuest series landing later this year—it’s like they are trying to break the internet with superhero content!

So grab your popcorn, because it looks like these heroes are gearing up for one heck of a ride!
