Plot Summary: A young, hapless meter reader named Roger (Jon Heder) falls head-over-heels in love when he meets his dream girl (Jacinda Barrett). In order to find the necessary courage to ask her out on a date, he enrolls in a confidence-building course. Things seem to be going well, until his instructor (Billy Bob Thornton) takes a personal interest in Roger’s dilemma and decides to use his sharpened skills to compete with the kid for the girl’s affection.
