Plot Summary: Zerophilia introduces a new era of teen sexuality: the ability to switch gender at will.
Luke, an inexperienced young college student has a random first sexual encounter while camping. This triggers his rare genetic condition, Zerophilia, forcing him to confront his deepest insecurities about his masculinity and sexuality.
When he meets Michelle, the girl of his dreams, his attraction to her sets off a shocking biological change, turning his deepest fears into a physical, unavoidable truth: His body begins transforming into a female.
Luke shares his confusion with his closest friend, Keenan, who in turn enlists the help of the brilliant and manipulative Dr. Sydney Catchadourian.
She instantly recognizes his rare condition and offers to help. But instead, operating from a secret personal agenda she cultivates Luke’s insecurities, urging him to let out the “real” Luke: “The truth will set you free. But first it can really piss you off!”
Reluctantly, Luke agrees to experiment with turning all the way female, introducing a new and confusing problem. As a guy, Luke was attracted to
Michelle, but now as “Luca”, a girl, she finds herself intensely attracted to Michelle’s brother, Max.
As Luke’s gender options increase by one, insecurities about his masculinity increase by one million. For some, the lines separating friendship and love, admiration and attraction, occasionally blur. For Luke, they disappear.
Join Luke as he journeys into the extraordinary world of Zerophilia, where people change gender at will…and occasionally against it. Zerophilia renders gender irrelevant and suggests humorously and with heart, that only one question matters:
“Who do you love?”
