Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street
10/10
Review: (Feb 18th, 2008) Amazing. Though not a perfect recreation of Sondheim's hit musical, Sweeney is a rare delicacy, with a stunningly beautiful score and irresistable oceans of blood! Helena's voice was surprisingly good, along with Ed Sanders, Jamie Bower, and Jayne Weisner. There is some great talent right there. Thi... ( more)

Cloverfield
9/10
Review: (Feb 9th, 2008) Awesome. For those who think that this movie is sucky or like Blair Witch Project, they are gravely mistaken. Cloverfield is unique and amazing!

The Golden Compass
10/10
Review: (Dec 15th, 2007) Amazing! Dakota Blue Richards gives an incredibly believable performance! As a huge fan of the book, I was very scared that this might not be, but it was, so I'm content. As any Hollywood blockbuster film should, it's positively loaded with awe-inspiring special effects.

Ratatouille
10/10
Review: (Nov 10th, 2007) Wonderful! Now, animated films normally do not count for much excellence in the vast city known as Hollywood, who feeds on rave reviews and special effects, where something must blow up every ten seconds. To me, those types of stereotypical, overblown films are entirely unappetizing to me, how... ( more)

The Game Plan
6/10
Review: (Nov 10th, 2007) The bottom line- it was o.k. At times, cheap, meaningless dialogue weighed down on the film, making it painful at times to watch. Long football sequences and extremly, and I mean extremly light-hearted comedy do NOT make fot a good combination. However, not bad for a family or very bored movieg... ( more)

Pan's Labyrinth
9/10
Review: (Aug 28th, 2007) Beautiful! Stunning! Terrifying! Pan's Labyrinth is all of these rolled into one. For such a low budget, writer and director Guillermo del Toro managed to make a spectacular movie. (my favorite addition was the faun! KUDOS!!!)

Are We Done Yet?
0/10
Review: (Aug 5th, 2007) I didn't even laugh. The entire movie, I had pictured in my head a nerd trying to crack a dry joke. To put it simply- It sucked. My dad shares my opinion, and asks that we never waste our money on a bomb like this.

The Bourne Ultimatum
10/10
Review: (Aug 5th, 2007) This was truly amazing. I went to the cinema today, not excpecting to see an action film. I was having trouble selecting a movie to see, so when I got to the ticket booth, I just said 'The Bourne Ultimatum'. I went into the theater, took my seat, and waited for the movie to start. I wasn't excp... ( more)
