Commented on Jun 29th, 2008
Comment: You're hearing this first from me: The Dark Knight will earn, at least, 170 mil - 210 mil in its first 3 1/2 days of release. It will be the #1 opening movie of ALL-TIME, BABY!!!! YAH!!!!
Star Wars: The Clone Wars
Review: (Jun 21st, 2008) I know this is the opening to George Lucas's animated Tv show, coming in September. But as I see it, this yet, sad to say, looks like another Star Wars disappointment.

A BIG FAT 0 (zero)!!!... That is, until it opens in August.
Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
Review: (Dec 31st, 2007) Well, this isn't really my cup of tea type of movie, but I still had fun viewing it.
Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium
Review: (Nov 17th, 2007) This is the worstest movie that I have ever seen, of this year. Mr. Magorium's Wonder Emporium is simply a movie trying to be a movie. It makes little sense in what the director, cast, and crew did to make it such a bad, no, so unholy, unbelievible that I all most puked. The 243-year-old toy shop... (more)
Review: (Nov 11th, 2007) Twelve movies are under consideration for the animated feature film Oscar category.
I,m predicting Ratatouille as the winner in this category. The other nominees for the category have no chance!
American Gangster
Review: (Nov 4th, 2007) Oh, man. This was a great film. When I maded my first post, back in Oct, I had the execptaions of it being "the greatest film ever made." And boy was I right. Ridely Scott acheived, yet, another masterpiece to his legacy.

I loved both Crowe's & Washington's performaces. One as a clean... (more)
Saw IV
Review: (Oct 29th, 2007) I "saw" this film, and thought it was complete crap. The third film made more sense then this one. The more they make, of these movies, the more I'm stating to hate them.
The Darjeeling Limited
Review: (Oct 27th, 2007) This was an excellent, and astonishing movie!!! The fifth five by director Wes Anderson proves to be his best work to date. The cinematography is sweeping, the screenplay is very well writen, and cast couldn't be better.

If it is being shown in your local theater, please go and see it. ... (more)
American Gangster
Review: (Oct 24th, 2007) This finally has to be one of the greatest films ever made, of this year alone. I'm really looking foeward to this Ridley film.
Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before Christmas in Disney Digital 3-D
Review: (Oct 22nd, 2007) I remember watching this film when it first arrived in theaters, back in '93. But it doesn't match the affect of watching it in 3-D. I loved it.
Fred Claus
Review: (Oct 19th, 2007) I hope this film is not as bad as the last two Disney Santa Claus movies. But when you got an actor like Vinci Vaugah, you know it's going to be funny.
Bee Movie
Review: (Oct 19th, 2007) I'm really interested in watching this film. But I'm not sure it will be that good. Til' Nov 2nd, I'll bee buuuuzzzzzzzzzing.
We Own the Night
Review: (Oct 18th, 2007) Oh boy. I was let down by this movie, truely disappointed. The filmmakers tried their best, I think, to make it feel and look like "The Departed." At least, that's what I think.

Yah, it had its moments, but it still didn't work for me. I rather see "The Departed," anyday then this peice ... (more)
Michael Clayton
Review: (Oct 18th, 2007) This film was truely a gripping and captivating thriller that proved to be one of the best films of the season.

George Clooney as Michael Clayton was overwhelming. He gives another Oscar winning performance.

The story of the film is strong, and the acting from Tom Wilkenson playing... (more)
Elizabeth: The Golden Age
Review: (Oct 12th, 2007) Just got out of watching "The Golden Age," and was completely stunned. What I mean by "completely stunned," I mean by how lame and boring the movie ways.

The movie didn't work out for me. The script way poorly written, the direction was a nightmare, and the cinematography was #@^!ing tar... (more)
Charlie Wilson's War
Review: (Oct 8th, 2007) I got a glimpes of the new trailer and think that "Charlie Wilson's War" is sure to be the head Oscar contender of the year. I truely can't wait for, Charlie Wilson's War!
3:10 to Yuma
Review: (Oct 2nd, 2007) Yippy ki yay. We finally have a western.

It being the first, truely great western since "Unforgiven," back in the earily 90's, I found that this remake of the original "3:10 to Yuma," back in 1952, to be as great if not better.

But even if you agree or disagree with me, it doesn... (more)
In the Valley of Elah
Review: (Oct 2nd, 2007) I've finally witnessed a movie, this year, that has a story and a director that matches.

In the Valley of Elah, directed and writen by Paul Haggis, is a strong and powerful story of a father (Tom Lee Jones) trying to find the truth surrounding the mysterious death of his son.

Thi... (more)
Eastern Promises
Review: (Sep 29th, 2007) The new thriller by David Cronenberg is absolutely astonishing. The reteam of him and Viggo Mortensen is the whole reason this film works.

And Academy Award nominee Naomi Watts, does a great job in the film, aswell.

The story is strong, and the characters do hold their point in t... (more)
The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford
Review: (Sep 21st, 2007) I have to say, this movie was one of the greatest films I've seen, so far, this month. Brad Pitt gives a breathtaking performance as the legendary Jesse James. The story of the film was strong and powerful, full of emotional scenes with Brad Pitt and Casey Affleck. And the direction of Andrew D... (more)
Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street
Review: (Sep 3rd, 2007) I think this will be an Oscar contender for Best Picture, for sure.
And Depp as Sweeney Todd, has to be his best performance yet. I can't wait until it opens this December.
Ocean's Thirteen
Review: (Jun 3rd, 2007) This movie - for the third time- was much better than the second one. By a long shot. I loved it.
Nancy Drew
Review: (May 31st, 2007) This movie has no point in its story-line, to the originary books. The characters (from the movie) do not measure up to the ones in the book. This is an outrange. The original movies and TV series had more taste, than this moderize peice of junk!!!
