IMLX: I enjoyed the first one, but after many viewings, I fell in love with the characters, and the film became my favorite animated feature, right along side the Incredibles.
I was looking forward to the sequel that cleaned up at the box office, and now I finally got to see it, and while it was great, it did not measure up to the original.
Scrat seemed forced, and we never found out what happened to those bad fish monsters. There was just too much missing, but as far as the characters, I see no difference from the first. The story was just weaker.
I hope they make a third, since this film is probably the best out of all the animated trash that's being released. And how can you not like Sid? |
