Loved it.

Tanman32123: 'World War Z' Is nothing short of a very greatly acted and nicely told zombie infectious story through the eyes of one person, His family and minor aquaintences.

I don't have much to dislike about this film other then the fact that it wasn't very gory as I had expected. The graphics were great, Pitt did great, And the ending was good. I'd like to see what the ending was going to be before they reshot it. That's be interesting.

I'd recommend this to people who want a zombified 'contagion' Movie. But if you're looking or blood and guts. Go watch Dawn of the dead. These films are technically the same, But still much different. I love a good Zombie film, But sometimes a little gore is nice. That being said. I give this a 8/10.

Thanks for reading.

cress: This review is copy & pasted from my WWZ news thread comments:

I lked it. It was pretty f*cking tame, though. A zombie movie with no bite. I know the studio needed a PG-13 rating to help make back it's $200 million budget, but this is a genre that needs blood and guts. There was very little of that. For example, Pitt field-dresses a gruesome wound, and not one drop of blood is shown, from what I remember. Most of the gory stuff takes place just off-screen, or is filmed in such a way that nothing is really seen. I would've liked more zombie close-ups as well. Call me a romantic, but I enjoy seeing what the FX crews can come up with in terms of rotting, disfigured faces. Very little that in this, a goddamn zombie film.

It did have some tense moments, but wasn't scary at all. It's a serviceable contagion thriller that kept me interested throughout. But it's very forgettable. There is not one centerpiece scene that will have people talking around the watercooler the next day. Also, the end sequence at tge W.H.O. was a bit anti-climatic and needed more tension, imo. Marc Forester didn't impress me at all. He's a paint-by-the-numbers director with zero visual flair.

Also, why can't people look where there going when they are trying to not make noise? Step on some glass, kick a soda can...good thing there wasn't a hole in the fucking floor, 'cause they would've gone right through it.

A decent film that plays more like CONTAGION and less like THE WALKING DEAD.

The most intense Zombie film by far.

CLEMENTARZAH: This was actually a pretty good film. The story was entertaining with heart-pounding intensity, thrilling action scenes & a captivating new take on the Zombie films. The performances from the cast were good. I did jump a couple times during the film. The film didn't really need to be in 3D, it would have work in regular 2D format. See This Film. This film is also playing in 2D & IMAX 3D
