|The end of the wachowski brothers|

Rambo: Hard to say what happened to the directors who brought us in 1999 one of the most amazing movies in the history of film - The Matrix.
It started with one of the brothers deciding to become a woman and continued with the worst sequel ever made - The Matrix Revolutions.
Later on came 'Speed Racer' - a gay cartoonish car racing film which bombed hard.
Now comes 'Cloud Atlas' - a truly horrible and pointless mess of a movie that lasts almost 3 hours and seems to be a worst torture possibility then spending a night with Jack Bauer in a room.
Some will say it's a visually brilliant masterpiece and crap like that - I'm really sorry, this movie is beyond crap.It makes no sense whatsoever and is a creation of a disturbed and mentally ill transvestite called Lana that should be kept away from making movies.luckily the movie bombed hard at the box office.
stay away at all costs.
|Great Movie, Rambo is a homophobe and has a horrible review|

DoRo1981: Rambos low-brow review is about as bad as reviews come. It is neither horrible or pointless (8.1 imdb, 7.9 metacritic... pretty high scores for "horrible and pointless" but wait, they are all stupid right???) You just did not get it, did not have an open enough mind/heart to understand and grasp what the epic masterpiece was trying to do. Also, you loose all credibility as a critic when you call the director a "disturbed and mentally ill transvestite" - You just admitted you are a homophobic pansy who thinks people who are mentally ill are disturbed and hopeless.... Take a look in the mirror mr. perfect, I am sure we can pick apart your faults and make asinine statements like yourself. Guess what idiot? When Lana was making the matrix he/she was already going through treatment to become a women.. how do you feel about that homophobe? He was already in transition to make the matrix. Cloud Atlas blew Matrix out of the water, it was a thinking mans Matrix as the Matrix is a pretend smart film but its really lame basic watered down conspiracy theory mumbo jumbo made for the masses (you) to make Hollywood lots of money, this was not an issue with Cloud Atlas as it was out of Hollywood's hands, they could actually make a good pure movie... Cloud Atlas is what happened when a mature direcor makes a movie. Oh, and BTW moron there was a 3rd director who did most of the directing, half the movie.. he made "run lola run" and all kinds of other good movies... BOO to your fear mongering review, don;t quit your day job.

cress: The PROBLEM: Imagine that you are watching a TV that only gets four channels. You start watching one channel, then someone changes it every couple of minutes to another channel.
And this goes on for 3 hours. Wouldn't that frustrate the living
shit out of you? I don't mind jumps between diffenrt narratives when it's done well. Here, there is no rhyme or reason to it. The director(s) just do it whenever, and its a jarring and disjointed mess. I'm surprised the editor didn't commit suicide after completing this film. I would love to see someone do a phantom edit of this film, with each story put together seamlessly. Or a different "jump between narratives" approach that makes more sense and has a smoother flow to it.
The production design gets a 10/10
The acting, for the most part, is very good. The use of the same actors in several roles, though, becomes a glaring problem as the
film progresses. I found myself going "Is that fucking Tom
Hanks?" or "Is that Halle?" It doesn't work, and becomes an
unnecessary gimmick, that winds up being laughably bad in
parts. The scene where Hanks plays a Scottish/Irish (I couldn't
tell) tough guy is so bad, I laughed for several minutes and had to
replay the scene over and over. Berry is very bland in every role
she has here. Her best days as an actress are behind her.
Very disappointing effort. It's ambitious, and looks beautiful. But it's as if someone poured four different jigsaw puzzles on the ground, and told the viewer to put it together.
