"District 9" One of the Most Incredible Films!

 10/10

CesarH_16: I went yesterday to see the film, and it was awesome! I believe its this year's "The Dark Knight." Well, for me. Lol

The relationship with the aliens and humans were so real! (Especially with a certain father and son in the film.) The story was great. The acting was superb. The CGI were awesome. The ending was sweet! It did get emotional towards the climax, to be honest. I was even getting chills. A lady even started to tear with the intensity and drama happening. There were some pretty graphic and disturbing scenes. So dudes, if you take you're lady friends, prepare to cover their eyes. HAHA! What I loved was how it had a "documentary" side of it, with certain interviews, which made it far more realistic. The action sequences were incredible. Putting them up there with Saving Private Ryan and Children of Men. All in all, the movie was fantastic and deserves good box office and awards, especially for Neill Blomkamp, P. Jackson and the crew. 10/10!

P.S. Pay attention to the beginning. Many people think the story sucks, but if you listen carefully, you'll understand :) Laterz y'all

Amazing

4Faith6: I just went to watch District 9 with my uncle and I must say: Totally awesome!!! I live in South Africa, not too far from Johannesburg, and I applaud director Neil Blomkamp! There were so many funny moments in the movie but only that South Africans could laugh about. I am a huge fan of Peter Jackson and his magic helped make this Awesome movie! The acting is some of the best I have seen in a long time and the cinematography was incredible and capture every emotion of both prawns and humans. The Story is also very good and it at some point very sad! The special effects is very, very good and the prawns are so lifelike! I keep forgetting that they are only CGI characters! I am very proud that a South African Director could create something so amazing! A standing ovation to everyone involved in making this movie! Go and see this movie! I can't wait for the DVD or even Blu-Ray!

He grew his teeth back!

lewistr: Even in a low budget film, I would expect a normal continuity of events. In a scene after two teeth fall out, they amazingly reappear with a beautiful full actor's gleaming white set. Woops! I really liked the film, but the low budget made it hard to wath the aliens. Sometimes they looked mechanical and other times they looked properly animal-like. The eyes were often too human-like, and in some scenes you could easily make out the costumes. It was a great story though. Maybe it's just my new 55" LED TV.

Kinda Stupid

Spedattack: It has some good action but theres really no story to this at all. The ending was a pile of crap and there were some parts i didnt get like why did Christopher leave his people behind when he was trying to save them. This movie could of been better.
