rwhyan: The only thing I hate about movies this good, is writing a review about them because there are just not enough words to say how good it is. I keep trying to write something intelligent about it but all that comes to my mind is, FUCK, SHIT, OH GOD, WOW, I JUST CAME, MY PANTS ARE MESSY & so on...
Clint Eastwood in this movie is such a bad bad bad bad bad ass mofo. He surpasses anyone who has ever tried to be cool in a movie easily, and he's such a racist bastard. Its amazing. His acting in the film was beyond amazing, unfortunatly the rest of the cast was just so-so for me. But it's a very touching film watching Eastwoods character evolve and accept certain people for who they are while being a racist bastard. The best part about his character is that almost all of us know an old man like him. The movie takes you through many emotions with lots of hilarious parts and it's fair share of scary edge of your seat moments. Do yourself a favor and see this movie, it wont dissapoint you I promise. And if it does, go watch Tyler Perry movies.
I guess all I really need to say to sell this review is that right now it's getting an 8.4 out of 10 on IMDB which currently puts it in the top 200 films of all time. MMMM baby.

ludwignut: What is to say?You have 99.9% of movies that come out of Hollywood that are pure garbage.Gran Torino is not one of them. You have Clint Eastwood who in his mind, redeems himself by the end of the movie. This movie is supported by a cast of co-stars that are unexperienced unknowns who actually do a great job of acting like,um, real people.Mr.Vang brings the movie home.
