SiranD: I saw this film at a SAG nominating committee screening in NYC earlier this month. It was shocking and completely compelling. I intend to see it again when it is released. I found the story and the telling of it to be really riveting and humbling. Left a huge impression that has lasted for a couple of weeks. The acting and direction were both first rate. The script shows all aspects of this group - their nobility and their struggles with rage and revenge. They aren't flawless heroes. They are men and women struggling in an impossibly brutal world to hold their moral center and to survive - and they don't always agree about the best way. Craig, Schreiber and Bell are all richly drawn characters, personifying the different faces of struggle. The film manages to have both an epic and intimate feel. It's sometimes hard to watch, but the determination of Craig's character, Tuvia, to hold his own standard despite impossible odds is inspiring. See this movie.

autumnelise: This movie was very entertaining. The story and plot of the movie was interesting, taking a new spin on the Holocaust. I recommend this movie to everyone, even if you're not a big fan of war movies.
