The Weinstein Company is happy to announce that the Classification and Rating Administration (CARA) and the MPAA have given the new version of "The King's Speech" a PG-13 rating.

The Directors Guild of America (DGA) has revealed that the winner of the 2011 award for Outstanding Directorial Achievement in Feature Film is Tom Hooper for "The King's Speech.

Now that "The King's Speech" has earned over $100 million at the box office on a $15 million budget, expanding to a record 2,500 theaters this weekend, has a 95% fresh rating on RottenTomatoes, and just earned a whopping twelve Oscar nominations, The Weinstein Company feels it's time to edit the R-rated film to make it PG-13 or even PG.
