Problems on "Wolverine" SetPosted: August 20th, 2008 by WorstPreviews.com Staff

An interesting story comes from Hollywood Elsewhere's sources who claim that there are creative problems on the set of "X-Men Origins: Wolverine."
Apparently, director Gavin Hood (Rendition, Tsotsi) had a big set built for a scene, which he requested to look "dark, dinghy and somber." After being away from his newly designed set for a few days, he returns to find it completely repainted on orders from Fox co-chairman and CEO Tom Rothman. The now different set became brighter and less depressing. The source says that he was utterly surprised to see what has happened.
The reason for why this has happened is unknown, but I'm sure it has something to do with Rothman feeling the need to be fully involved in the creative process. And if need be, make the big decisions. How this will alter Hood's vision or how this will affect Hood's involvement in the project is yet to be seen. Stay tuned.

This movie is guuna rock, but not if that d*ckhead Rothman gets involved. Gavid Hood is a fantastic director. Let him create his vision for the X-Men movies.

That's funny, because at Comic-Con Hugh Jackman revealed shooting had just wrapped on Wolverine and it was headed into post-production. I call bullsh!t on this rumor.

Damn...Fox is back to being a bunch of tools. Rothman- Why employ a talent like Gavin Hood if you're just going to f**k him over without discussion? Geeez is he collecting pissed off directors? Go back and get Tim Story if you're going to be a useless meatbag Tom.
