"Justice League of America" to Resume Filming Next YearPosted: August 4th, 2008 by WorstPreviews.com Staff
|
In an interview with The Herald Sun, director George Miller (Happy Feet, Mad Max) has revealed that filming on the halted "Justice League of America" will resume next year, just not in Australia.
It was recently reported that the filmmakers were hoping to receive a large tax break for shooting in Australia. The government refused to provide that tax break, stating that the movie is very much American, even though Miller comes from Australia.
Miller was then hoping to move production to Canada, but the big budget film was very much dependent on the tax break and fans have been very vocal about their negative feelings toward the young cast.
As a result, producer Joel Silver was quoted as saying that the film was "tabled," meaning that production is now on hold and the cast is free to work on other projects. That, apparently, is now over with as the film is back on track.

This film is a FLOP waiting to happen! That cast is horrible! Some are wayy to young, some old. They don't look well together! Come on! Break out the big bucks and cast Bale, Routh, etc.

Brandon Routh and Christian Bale said they wouldnt want to be a part of it anyway. This film is gunna fail. How studpid can Warner Brothers get? They just had their greatest movie yet, The Dark Knight, and they want to do a movie, with Batman in it, with nothing to do with the Nolan Batman series, or the Keaton/Kilmer/Clooney movies. How stupid.
