Check out three exclusive short films to get ready for "The Grudge 2." The Short films are presented by one of the producers, Sam Raimi. They were helmed by Tobby Wilkins, an unknown but an up and coming director.
The three short stories connect in a certain way. The first one shows a guy who wakes up in his hotel room and receives an unwelcomed guest, as he places his phone and takes a picture of himself, a strange image appears behind him. The second one shows his girlfriend talking to her friend (a babysitter) on her cell phone. When she finished talking to her, she receives the picture from her boyfriend and notices the strange image behind him. In the third and last one, the babysitter disappears in a closet while playing hide and seek with a little boy.
The "Grudge 2" is directed by Takashi Shimizu, the director of the four Japanese films in the Grudge series as well as the American remake of one of his own films. Sarah Michelle Gellar "The Grudge" will not be the main character, but she will make a short appearance. Columbia Pictures has scheduled this film for an October 13th, 2006 release date.
