WENN reports that Kate Hudson will re-team with Matthew McConaughey on a remake of "Foul Play." The original 1978 comedy starred Chevy Chase and Hudson's mother, Goldie Hawn. The remake is still in its early stages, as negotiations have started, but a write has yet to be signed.
The film revolves around a shy San Francisco librarian and a bumbling cop, who fall in love as they solve a crime involving albinos, dwarves, and the Catholic Church.
Hudson and McConaughey have previously starred in two romantic comedies; "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days" and "Fool's Gold."
