Two pictures for the upcoming Kevin Costner thriller "New Daughter" have appeared online, featuring Costner holding a shotgun. The movie is based on a short story by John Connolly.
"New Daughter" revolves around John James (Costner), a single father who moves to a farm with his two kids after a painful divorce. Soon, his daughter (Ivana Baquero of "Pan's Labyrinth") starts behaving ominously, and Dad begins to suspect that the burial mound in a nearby field might have something to do with it.
The new movie is directed by Luis Berdejo and is currently in post-production. New Line Cinema has picked it up for distribution, but no release date has been set.
