ScreenDaily is reporting that Sylvester Stallone will soon head to the Bulgarian capital of Sofia to begin filming the upcoming "Rambo 5" movie. Nu Boyana Studios are planning to build ten new sound stages in the area, where the fifth installment in the franchise has already been booked.
After the release of the fourth installment, entitled "Rambo," Harvey Weinstein has revealed that he would like to see another addition to the series. He is not opposed to seeing an even older Stallone in the role, as long as the action takes place back home in America.
When "Rambo 5" was first announced, Stallone stated that he is planning on taking the film into a slightly different genre. "I would like to take Rambo to another genre, experiment a little with the character," he revealed. "It would definitely not be another war movie. I can't go any further with that than what I've already done."
At this point, Stallone is still working on the script.
