When the teaser for the upcoming Liv Tyler horror movie "The Strangers" was released back in August, I thought it was one of the most frightening previews I have seen. Today, we have the full length trailer for the film, which does not have the same kick, but still delivers the scares.
The story is about a couple (Tyler, Scott Speedman) in a remote suburban house who are targeted by three dangerous masked strangers. As a result, they are forced to go well beyond what they thought themselves capable of in order to survive.
"The Strangers" is written and directed by Bryan Bertino, who is making his Hollywood debut. At this point, there is no way to tell how the film turned out, but the fact that it was scheduled to be released last July and is now appearing in theaters a year later (May 30th) could be a hint.
