Today, we have the first pictures from the upcoming Woody Allen-directed film "Vicky Cristina Barcelona." The story revolves around a painter, who enters a relationship with two American tourists. Conflict begins with the painter's jealous ex-wife.
The title of the movie comes from the names of the two American girls, Vicky (Rebecca Hall) and Christina (Scarlett Johansson). Penelope Cruz is playing the ex-wife, and Javier Bardem (No Country for Old Men) is the painter.
The new movie has been shot in Spain and will have dialogue spoken in both English and Spanish. At this point, it has been picked up for distribution by The Weinstein Company, but has yet to set a release date.
