Today, we have a photo of the poster for "Speed Racer" that has been appearing at movie theaters. It features Speed (Emile Hirsch) holding his helmet in front of the Mach 5. We are currently waiting for Warner Bros to release a better version of the poster, stay tuned.
"Speed Racer" is based on the classic 1960's Japanese animated series chronicling the aspirations of a young race car driver as he attempts to obtain glory, with the help of his family and the Mach 5, the advanced car created by his father.
As Emile Hirsch has stated before, the film will be entirely green screen. "There were no sets, just us and the green background," he said. "Speed Racer" hits theaters on May 9th, 2008.
