He may have had a box office smash with Superbad, but Seth Rogen and writing partner Evan Goldberg aren't finished yet. The Canadian pals are working on both romantic and action comedy movie scripts.
"The 'Long D' is a script about a long distance relationship," says Rogen. "It's more romantic than anything we've done, but it makes us feel gay just to work on it. But actually these are our favourite types of movies. Those are the movies we run to the theatre to see."
The 25-year old has also completed work alongside James Franco on another of his scripts, "Pineapple Express."
"'Pineapple Expess' is like an action comedy," he chuckles. "We went to them [the studio] and said we want to make a balls to the wall crazy action movie and they said yes, and they said I could be in it. 'Pineapple Express' I think aims at a distinctly older audience than 'Superbad' - 30-year-olds rather than 23-year-olds. It's not too far out of our comfort zone. We're not writing the retirement home movie just yet. Maybe in 40 years."
