The multi-talented Johnny Depp can act, talk crap about America and wear a hat like nobody's business, but did you know that he can also sing?. Apparently, he had no idea either, until he was forced to try it for the upcoming musical "Sweeney Todd," which is directed by his long time pal, Tim Burton.
The movie revolves around a wrongfully imprisoned barber (Depp) in Victorian England who sets out to seek revenge on the judge (Alan Rickman) who imprisoned him.
Very recently, Paramount has asked Burton to make a few edits to the film, due to so much blood and gore in the footage that they have seen. With situations like this, we can expect to see an unrated version of the movie on DVD, which I'm looking forward to. "Sweeney Todd" is scheduled to hit theaters on December 21st.
