Variety posted an article which talks about the scene from the "Iron Man" trailer, where the hero races fighter jets. According to the site, that particular sequence was created to generate buzz, and won't be in the final cut of the film.
Director Jon Favreau came across this article and decided to let us know through his MySpace blog, whether or not we will see Iron Man fly.
"It's in the movie," he explained. "It's true that the shots were rushed for Comic Con, but the F-22 dogfight has been in the works for over a year and was the furthest along of the film's set pieces. That's how we were able to get it on the screen nearly a year before the premiere."
So there you have it, the shot is in the movie. And even though that's one of the better scenes from the trailer, it will even get better, since Favreau said that the effects guys haven't had a chance to get their hands on it.
