Disney has released the first teaser poster for the upcoming sequel to "National Treasure." Unfortunately, the studio didn't release it online, so all we have is a photo of the poster, for now.
In the new film, the story revolves around Benjamin Franklin Gates (Nicholas Cage), who looks to discover the truth behind the assassination of Abraham Lincoln, by uncovering the mystery within the 18 pages missing from assassin John Wilkes Booth's diary. The entire adventure begins when Gates finds out that his ancestors were a big part of history (in a bad way). For more on the story, check out the full trailer.
In addition to Cage, Jon Voight, Justin Bartha and Diane Kruger, director Jon Turteltaub returns to make the sequel, which is scheduled to be released on December 21st.
