Even though the film will not be released until next year, we already have the poster for the upcoming Will Ferrell comedy "Semi-Pro." The story revolves around Jackie Moon (Ferrell), the owner/coach/player of the American Basketball Association's Flint Michigan Tropics, who rallies his teammates to make their NBA dreams come true.
The poster is actually pretty great, featuring the side of Ferrell's head, as he sports a sweet headband, some thick sideburns and wild neck hair. The tagline states: "The greatest fro on earth."
Kent Alterman is making his transition from producer to director with "Semi-Pro." Alterman might not have much experience, but writer Scot Armstrong does; he has delivered screenplays for such comedies as "Road Trip" and "Old School." "Semi-Pro" is scheduled to hit theaters on February 29th.
