MTV News got their hands on a brand new poster for the upcoming fantasy film "The Dark Is Rising." It looks a lot like "The Lord of the Rings" posters that have been released for all three films. In my opinion it looks good and definitely better than the teaser poster that was released a month ago.
In the movie, a boy's life is turned upside down when he learns that he is the last of a group of immortal warriors who have dedicated their lives to fighting the forces of the dark.
The film is based on a book, which is a part of a series of five installments. I'm sure the studio is hoping to adapt all of them, but will depend on how "The Dark Is Rising" does, when it hits theaters on October 5th.
