Here is the official poster for the upcoming musical "Across the Universe." For a movie that is said to be incredibly creative, beautiful and overall artistic, the poster is very bland. It features a strawberry frame with the two main actors inside. The tagline states "All you need is love," referring to the popular Beatles song.
In the film, a young man from Liverpool comes to America during the Vietnam War to find his father. He winds up in Greenwich Village, where he falls in love with an American girl who has grown up sheltered in the suburbs. Together they experience the sweeping changes of America in the late 60's.
"Across the Universe" is directed by Julie Taymor, who helmed such stunning films as "Frida" and "Titus." Columbia Pictures has scheduled the film to hit theaters on September 28th.
