20th Century Fox just unveiled the second trailer for Ridley Scott's upcoming "The Martian" film, starring Matt Damon, Jessica Chastain, Kate Mara, Michael Pena, Kristen Wiig, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Jeff Daniels, Mackenzie Davis, Sean Bean, and Donald Glover. Check it out below and watch the movie in theaters on October 2nd.
Plot: Six days ago, astronaut Mark Watney became one of the first people to walk on Mars. Now, he's sure he'll be the first person to die there. After a dust storm nearly kills him and forces his crew to evacuate while thinking him dead, Mark finds himself stranded and completely alone with no way to even signal Earth that he's alive - and even if he could get word out, his supplies would be gone long before a rescue could arrive.
Chances are, though, he won't have time to starve to death. The damaged machinery, unforgiving environment, or plain-old "human error" are much more likely to kill him first. But Mark isn't ready to give up yet. Drawing on his ingenuity, his engineering skills - and a relentless, dogged refusal to quit - he steadfastly confronts one seemingly insurmountable obstacle after the next. Will his resourcefulness be enough to overcome the impossible odds against him?

The novel was great and this finally looks like a decent Ridley Scott film after his last 3 being greasy turds.

In the role Channing Tatum was born to play. Taters....as a tater....in Taters on Mars.
Matt places his arm around Taters as they walk off into the sunset at the end and informs Taters, "You can be my Batfleck anytime."
Top Gun theme starts as dedication to the Vincent Thomas Bridge that Tony Scott hurled himself from fades in.

Wetback pilot crash lands ship right on Sean Bean at the end killing him instantly. So close.
One does not simply cast Sean Bean in his film without killing him off before the end.
