"Star Wars" Spin-Off Hires Directors, Darth Vader to Appear in "Star Wars: Rogue One"Submit Comment
There's a lot of news coming out of Disney about its "Star Wars" franchise. According to the studio, directors Christopher Miller and Phil Lord (21 Jump Street, 22 Jump Street, The LEGO Movie, Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs) will helm the Han Solo spin-off movie, which is set to hit theaters on May 25th, 2018.

Meanwhile, it's being reported that Darth Vader will appear in "Star Wars: Rogue One," which will be directed by Gareth Edwards (Godzilla) and is set to hit theaters on December 16th, 2016. Vader will not be the main villain in the movie, but will appear on screen.

And finally, Entertainment Weekly learned that Disney will not unveil a new trailer at the San Diego Comic-Con. Instead, director JJ Abrams, producer Kathleen Kennedy and co-writer Lawrence Kasdan will attend the Lucasfilm panel on July 10th and show some behind the scenes footage. A new trailer is expected to be released this fall.

But when Darth Vader comes onto the screen for his brief moment will he yell "Noooooooooooooo!"? Just can't get enough of that drama.

And thanks for adding that NNNNOOOOOOO! to Return of the Jedi Lucas. One of the most intense, emotional scenes in cinematic history. I could literally feel Vader's silent conflict and contemplation as he looked back and forth between Luke and the Emperor. When he hoisted the Emperor over his head it's the only film I ever remember where the entire audience literally jumped to their feet, clapping, cheering, and whistling in relief. That scene would have Hitchc*ck himself saying, "now that's how you build tension in a scene for god's sake."

Then to see Lucas turn that scene into a parody of itself with that NNNOOOOO!!!! bullsh*t just because the fans hated his sh*tty prequels. It's like seeing a petulant child stamp his feet in a way that destroys his own legacy. And now Vader being in a film is supposed to be a selling point to me? Go f*ck yourself George. Vader was turned into an emo/bitch and a joke of a villain. I don't want to see him

And what's that Lucas? You're not done? You're going to put flying saucers in the new Indiana Jones? Spielberg and Harrison won't go for that retarded sh*t. Why would they sh*t on their own legacy? Well by god....He showed us.
