"The Grey" Director in Talks for "Bad Boys 3"Submit Comment
Michael Bay has been interested in returning for a third "Bad Boys" installment, but has been busy with other projects. Now comes word that Sony Pictures is moving forward with the new sequel and is talks with Joe Carnahan (The Grey) to write and direct the film.

Sony is hoping that Will Smith and Martin Lawrence will reprise their roles. In fact, the studio is rushing "Bad Boys 3" toward production in order to make the film be the next project for Smith after "Suicide Squad."

The first "Bad Boys" movie was released in 1995 and earned only $141 million worldwide on a budget of $19 million. The 2003 sequel raised the budget to $130 million and grossed $273 million worldwide.

Thought-provoking.

No Bay means it won't be the same, and I have a feeling Smith is going to tell them to go f*ck themselves. Besides, are they going to give Carnahan the money to make a movie big enough to outdo Bad Boys 2? Carnahan doesn't exactly have a lot of success at the BO.

So I guess Smith is going to do this, per the article, but without Bay I jut don't see this one taking in the cash and getting the attention that the second one earned.

And Carnahan....couldn't even get the A-Team right, so why give this guy a f*cking franchise when he can't get one of his own off the ground?

Just push that unnecessary Benghazi movie back and get Bay to do Bad Boys 3 when he's done with Transfaggots 15.

^ ^ Me too as The Grey had a sh*tty storyline: everyone dies at the end!

The grey sucked.

Bay and Smith have become too greedy over the years.will be difficult to bring them both back.
Lawrence will probably do it for a cheeseburger.

The Grey was godawfully stupid. Really, they crash in the snowy wilderness only to have a pack of supernatural uberwolves eat them one by one.

The plane didn't have a radio or satphone, and not one person had a f*cking gun. Then they start making stupid decisions, a la every teen horror film known to man, that get them killed, like wandering away from the group to take a leak even though they KNOW there's a pack of monster wolves hunting them.

Movie would have been far better if Neeson had gone Rambo on the f*cking wolves instead.

'Movie would have been far better if Neeson had gone Rambo on the f*cking wolves instead.'

yeah, that was what i was excepting from the trailers, instead we got a f*cking soap opera with some losers complaining about their sh*tty life.
