Is it me or is Ving Rhames really taking to those Ding Dongs like a pro?

This might be the best MI to date. Adding Led Zep is always a good sign.

I'll pay to watch this.

I must say, i do like the M:I franchise, good old cruise doesn't like to submit to age which is good. Ving rhames used to be a big hench mofo but now he's got a bit paunchy, he's submitting to age quite nicely ha.

Since the car chase in Jack Reacher had a great sense of geography and was on the level of the chase in The French Connection, it will be cool to see what Chris Mcquarrie came up with for the chases in this with a much bigger budget.

You really think Jack Reachers car chases were comparable to French Connection?

I don't think so man. Although I agree that they had an excellent sense of awareness of space and where they were, it's really an almost impossible comparison to make, considering the conditions around each production.

High velocity actioners of today are very difficult to compare to those they drew inspiration from.

I don't believe Jack Reachers car chases to be any better than anything Michael Bay has filmed. Sorry I don't. It's a method of doing it and some are better than others. Rewind 40 years ago and attempt the same f*cking thing. Impossible.

And as for this.

I'm pumped. I still think MI3 was the best in the series.

The acting was amazing. Hoffman was perfect. And the scale Abrams presented everytning on was out of this world. Very difficult to beat IMO.

But. Alec Baldwin. Sold.
