"Transformers" Spin-Off to Focus on Bumblebee, Michael Bay May Direct "Transformers 5"

"Transformers" Spin-Off to Focus on Bumblebee, Michael Bay May Direct "Transformers 5"Submit Comment
We already know that Paramount Pictures has assembled a team of writers to expand the "Transformers" universe. There will be sequels, spin-offs and animated projects. And now comes word that one of the spin-offs may focus on Bumblebee.

"As we go forward, we would imagine several more 'Transformers' movies," said Hasbro CEO Brian Goldner. "Not just in the current lineage but also spin-offs and focusing on certain key characters that are beloved by the world over. Many of you know Bumblebee; the yellow Camaro... formally known as a yellow VW Bug. He is a beloved character by kids all over the world. We could see stories told around Bumblebee and other characters. We are in a process of building the brand equity around the comic book business, our TV Business, our digital gaming business and adding to that our new movie business of 'Transformers.'"

There have also been reports that a prequel film, called "Transformers One," is in development and will focus on the planet of Cybertron, which was briefly seen in the first film.

It's also believed that Michael Bay will return to direct "Transformers 5" as soon as he completes work on his Benghazi drama "13 Hours." Meanwhile, Mark Wahlberg previously confirmed that he is contractually signed on for "a couple more" installments.

I took a dump with more appeal than this sh*t.

Ah yes, a Bumblebee Transformers film, because the franchise couldn't get any more retarded.
Minkοwski writes:

Of course Bay will direct. What else does he have going on? Armageddon 2? Bad Boys 3? he better direct if he wants to maintain his incessant access to South American transvestite hookers and Columbian cocaine.

Coming soon, 'Bumblebee versus Boba Fett', with a Spiderman cameo.

With all the money Paramount has, why don't they make an animated sequel to the original film? With today's software and hardware, they could spit out a sequel to Headmasters with ease.

I'd like to see a reborn Unicron duke it out with a transformed Cybertron.

I guess they don't because there are no f*cking relevant toys to sell.

*ssholes.

First things first, they need to transform this into a good franchise, which I seriously doubt.

30 min into 'Avengers 2' - so far much better then the first one but I'll have to finish it to give my final verdict.

On my way to see Avengers also

and

*ahem*
Poltergeist(not my idea)
Tanman32123 writes:

Poltergeist was kinda lame compared to the original classic. If it was a stand alone supernatural horror movie then it would have been decent.
PORN-FLY writes:

Poltergeist has the worst parents ever

Not only are they dopey parents

But they really make one appreciate Craig T Nelson and JoBeth Williams

It was nice to see hugh Jackman as a different character thought with half a mullet and funny high shorts

Hugh Jackman actually asked Neil Blomkamp if he could wear a bright red fanny pack to look even more dorky but Neil said no.

Avengers age of ultron - 6/10

more or less the same movie as the first only this time it's with robots instead of aliens.
the twins were the only interesting addition but even that was meh...the 2nd act with hawkeye's family felt like a big deleted scene that didn't belong there. wtf were they thinking ?

Ex Machina - 7/10

interesting slow paced sci-fi blade runner like movie, good performances by the leading cast.some nice twists towards the end.

and yes,'Chappie' was fun but silly at the same time,i mean, come on - consciousnesses transfer through a usb stick ?

talking to a phony

apparently people like this

for a comic book movie, AoU kicked ass
dragged a lil more with The Eye Family and black/green love story

Cap's action scenes are always cool
and the Stan Lee cameo was funny

If you know youre tired of comic book movies
dont see them(not directed at RAMBObo)

Transformers One? How about Transformers Lost? At least the original cartoon series allowed for more things to be going on and with less waiting time. Screw it, it'll just wait for them to end up in the same boat as Tron 3

Pornfly, you're spot on about Poltergeist...I always thought of the old film as well as E.T. as educational films, in the sense that despite all the special effects, one could easily learn what it takes to make a film, and to think Drew Barrymore almost was Carol-Anne
