Sounds about as aromatically palatable as canned cold beans.

Plot? Aliens blow up sh*t and a wise-cracking negro and a super-Jewy Jew, nature's natural enemies, team up to save the f*cking planet.

That was the first one, anyway.

The entire plot was that the aliens' civilization was nomadic, arriving at host worlds in droves like locusts. Who are they calling? Who's receiving the distress call?

Jesus f*cking christ, just a retread of the original, except all the important sh*t, like the White House and Los Angeles, is no longer extant. So what's the f*cking point?

f*ck you, Emmerich. Make a sequel to Stargate instead, one that ignores the sh*tty television series.

'Independence Day 2: Jewgro Returns' should be the title.

That's been the plot details for years.

Without Will Smith this movie won't be a big success at the box office.it's been almost 20 years since the first one and there hasn't been any 'x files' show like the 90's to make people have an interest in alien movies.
oh yeah, but then again you have Melissa McCarthy

Independence day: With a vengeance!
Plot sounds meh and without smith...
Let's just say I don't expect a 3rd film.

She plays the spaceships.

Fringe, Falling Skies, and by the time ID4ever (??) hits the screens, X Files series 10 will have been screened.

plenty of palatable alien based TV shows to whet the appetite.

Now a days you don't even have to blow up the White House, the aliens could just jump the fence, it would be cool if randy quiad comes back and the director can say, just be yourself randy, and he's been with the aliens for 20 years.

A sequel nobody was waiting for, so go ahead and plan the next 6 in the series. I hope they space them out 20 years so I'll probably be dead before they get too far in.
