Universal Pictures has unveiled the first teaser trailer for the upcoming "Steve Jobs" biopic, starring Michael Fassbender and the late Apple founder and CEO. Check it out below.
Plot: Set backstage at three iconic product launches and ending in 1998 with the unveiling of the iMac, Steve Jobs takes us behind the scenes of the digital revolution to paint an intimate portrait of the brilliant man at its epicenter.
The new movie co-stars Kate Winslet as Joanna Hoffman, former marketing chief of Macintosh, Seth Rogen as Steve Wozniak, who co-founded Apple, Jeff Daniels as former Apple CEO John Sculley, Katherine Waterston as Chrisann Brennan, Jobs' ex-girlfriend, and Michael Stuhlbarg as Andy Hertzfeld, one of the original members of the Apple Macintosh development team.
"Steve Jobs" is directed by Danny Boyle (Slumdog Millionaire, 127 Hours) from a script by Aaron Sorkin. It's set to hit theaters on October 9th.

Huh. Kate Winslet has kind of sold out the last couple years hasn't she? I mean this looks better than that other crap Kutcher did and great/diverse cast, but why tell a story everyone knows Boyle?! You're a great director who always seemed to do unique work and yet you are doing a Sorkin-written biopic? Seems a little tame for you creatively.
