Focus Features just unveiled a new trailer for its upcoming "Insidious Chapter 3," which is written and directed by franchise co-creator Leigh Whannell. Check it out below.
Update: Here's the official trailer.
Plot: Set before the haunting of the Lambert family, the prequel reveals how gifted psychic Elise Rainier (Lin Shaye) reluctantly agrees to use her ability to contact the dead in order to help a teenage girl (Stefanie Scott) who has been targeted by a dangerous supernatural entity.
"Insidious Chapter 3" co-stars Dermot Mulroney, Angus Sampson and Whannell. It's set to hit theaters on May 29th.
The first one was a modern classic, the 2nd was incoherent and came off as a b-side of the first as if it comprised entirely of deleted scenes from the first one.
This looks like an attempt to rectify the mess of the second film, but since this is the first film that Leigh Whannel has directed, I hope he learned some things from James Wan on what NOT to do which affected the sequel so much.
Mink you are horrible. For someone who hates every article on here so much you sure spend enough time trying to be first to post your stupid paragraphs on each one. Get outside and live life man seriously.
