Well the 2 movies with Alba and Evans and Mike Chiclits were mediocre poop as well. I, like many others never really liked the comic very much.
The way I see the Fantastic Four as a whole is that they come off as a very antique template for a Superhero Team™.
X-Men, The Avengers, JLA, etc. are simply more exciting and interesting and well-rounded as teams. F4 is just dull and always will be.
No amount of slick production or CGI, or modernizing and re-imagining the basic elements of the characters, or even casting a colored actor in place of a character that has always been white will hide any of that and convince audiences that it's cool.

I was really never into comics at all lol I haven't ready any other than a couple Spidermans and one or two supermans. Never even heard of the Avengers until the movies came out, none of it peeked my interest.
The fantastic fours kinda sucked lol

I think this, by the trailer, looks much better than the amount of hatred spat at it for the better part of the year.
With that said, I agree wholeheartedly. Fantastic 4 is just a boring franchise. I guess we will see.

That was a strange insult to me. LOL Whatever, I agree Fantastic Four is boring. I enjoyed the first two for being just fun family films and agree with the idea of Galactus being a giant force of nature or storm as a giant Power Ranger monster would have looked stupid.
