Today we have the first photo from HBO's upcoming "Westworld" sci-fi TVseries, which is produced by JJ Abrams (Star Wars: Episode VII) and Jonathan Nolan (Interstellar), and stars Anthony Hopkins, Evan Rachel Wood, James Marsden, Thandie Newton, Rodrigo Santoro, Jeffrey Wright, and Ed Harris. Check it out below.

Plot: The story revolves around a futuristic theme park staffed by robots that can help guests live out their fantasies. The park breaks down, however, and two guests taking a Wild West adventure find themselves stalked by a gun-slinging android.

"It's a place where you can be whoever you want to be and there are no consequences no rules, no limitations, what happens in Westworld, stays in Westworld," explained Nolan. "What we can tell you is that we intend to make the most ambitious, subversive, f*cked up television series, the things that keep you up at night, any of those things that trouble you that is exactly what the show is about."

The show is expected to air in 2015.

Should be a decent feature length remake instead.

Whatever happened to that Logan's Run remake?

So basically Jurassic Park with Data's brother Lore.

In other news, Matrix Revolutions ripped off A Fistful of Datas, which is somewhat similar to this Westworld crap.

Abrams and Nolan. I can't think of two *ssholes less apt for Crichton's techno-thriller material.

Nolan substitutes ponderous posturing of monologues for intellectual insight, while Abrams is just a retard fixated with glossy cosmetics and frenetic camerawork - a sentimental version of Michael Bay.

f*ck off, the both of them.

Spielberg, maybe, but the last truly talented director to handle Crichton was Robert Wise. Those days of brainer, academic sci-fi are gone.

This sh*t will be supped-up formulaic action.

HBO does it big. Can't wait for this! This will most likely be one of the best shows on television come air time.
