"James Bond 24" Unveils Title, Plot, Release Date, and PosterSubmit Comment
Sony Pictures and MGM announced that the upcoming "Skyfall" sequel, the 24th installment in the James Bond franchise, will be titled "Spectre." In addition, the studios unveiled the first teaser poster. Check it out below.

In the movie, a cryptic message from Bond's past sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organization. While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind SPECTRE.

The new title most likely refers to the secret terrorist organization run by 007's arch-nemesis Ernst Blofeld. The organization first appeared on screen in 1962's "Dr No.," returning in "Thunderball," "You Only Live Twice," "On Her Majesty's Secret Service" and "Diamonds Are Forever."

Sam Mendes (Skyfall) will return to direct "Spectre," which will start shooting on Monday, December 8th and then hit theaters on November 6th, 2015.

The cast includes Daniel Craig as 007, Rory Kinnear as Tanner, Ben Whishaw as Q, Naomie Harris as Moneypenny, Ralph Fiennes as M, Andrew Scott as Denbigh, David Bautista as Mr Hinx, Monica Bellucci as Lucia Sciarra, Lea Seydoux as Madeleine Swann, and Christoph Waltz as Oberhauser.

Those are some weird cracks...must have some symbolic meaning, like "the gravity of death" or some sh*t. That or the poster designer is a forensic retard.

cannot wait for this everyone ignore @fakemink trust the die hard bond fan this will be awesome

Fink is a highly-trained c*ckmonger with nothing useful to say.

This movie will be awesome just like SKYFALL.

And the f*cking poster is obviously referencing the fact that James Bond SHOOTS AT THE SCREEN IN EVERY f*ckING MOVIE.

You're either trolling or a goddamn idiot fink!

Cool poster. I interpret it as kill one Spectre agent, there are many more Spectre agents to follow. Kinda like Red Skull's explanation of Hydra "cut off one head and another grows" - something like that.
Papillon writes:

@Mr Blonde

As I posted on the previous thread and Alex didn't even bother to check the bloody news, SPECTRE stands for "Special Executive for Counter-intelligence, Terrorism, Revenge and Extortion".

It goes without saying that I'm really looking forward for this film and with the hope that Craig will more manly as he was in Casino Royale.

Cheers mate,

ps: the perpetual firstees is a natural born Wanker! What a f*cking idiot.

wasn't a big fan of 'Skyfall' - had a great camera work but that's about it.everything else was pretty generic and meh.

Saw 'Nightcrawler' - an interesting and disturbing movie at the same time,Jake gyllenhaal did a great job as the main lead - oscar nom guaranteed. the ending was meh.

6.5/10

@Papillion
I love the poster and agree Sam Mendes will do a great job. His titles for the films are both unique and intriguing with the movies themselves being wonderful. I look forward to seeing this and Monica Bellucci as a Bond girl which I can only say on that...it's about time!!! LOL

@everyone
Call me crazy but the Terminator trailer actually looks interesting. It's seems like a weird, alternate reality take on the first one that saves the damsel-in-distress version of the original and gets straight into the plot. Cinematography is meh but the action and the use of Arnold's terminate persona is inventive.
Sleuth1989 writes:

What's the point of bringing symmetrically-obsessed Sam Mendez back again, give someone else a chance. Or just bring in Wes Anderson to direct if they're so obsessed with everything being so perfectly centred.

Like all of Mendez films the last Bond was beautifully shot but completely forgettable. I literally forgot the film within a week. At least Casino Royale had some good action scenes in it.
