Plot: The story of the defiant leader Moses (Bale) as he rises up against the Egyptian Pharaoh Ramses (Joel Edgerton), setting 600,000 slaves on a monumental journey of escape from Egypt and its terrifying cycle of deadly plagues.
The new movie is directed by Ridley Scott (Prometheus) and co-stars Aaron Paul, John Turturro, Sigourney Weaver and Ben Kingsley. It's set to hit theaters on December 12th.

Christian Bale is a consummate, dedicated, passionate performer, and Ridley once had talent to spare, but his latter years have seen him produce nothing but garbage. I full exepct Bale to lend his ful range of abilities to what will be an underwhelming, overproduced thoughtless film that resonates with nobody except for softhearted critics who still remember the Scott who made films like Black Hawk Down, Alien and Blade Runner, which were all a lifetime ago.
I'll see this the day I see Robin Hood, or some day after never.

"and co-stars Aaron Paul, John Turturro, Sigourney Weaver and Ben Kingsley."
Great cast (with the exception of Aaron Paul who has a career atm only because of Breaking Bad's over-exalted success; he was ne plus ultra atrocious in Need for Speed), wasted on a film of Biblically-bad proportions.
I can't wait for the CGI locusts and raining toads...

Seriously, I really want to be excited about this, but the trailers continue to be underwhelming in terms of story and character.

They got it perfect the first time with The Ten Commandments with Charlton Heston.

I think it looks great!
My favorite theater only has three screens, and has to choose between EXODUS or the latest Peter Jackson masturbation THE HOBBIT.
I told them there is no choice!
EXODUS will be the far better film.
I am sick to death of these endless THE HOBBIT movies and all their super-detailed phony looking CGI. I know EXODUS will have tons of CGI, but Peter Jackson seems obsessed with high-def to the point his movies are looking cheesy.
His LORD OF THE RINGS series was awesome; his HOBBIT series are excrement.
I'll go with Ridley Scott and Moses!!

Like others, another disaster and wasted time of a once upon a time great director of all time...... Only making movies for the reason like Spielberg, is that they still alive but without a good reason to tell a good story. The next thing that will follow Jesus and Mary Madeleine fighting together prostitution in the old days or maybe christopher Columbus having a ship race with others, of whom is gonna make it first to discover America, cmon, f*ck it!
