Photos: Tom Cruise's "Mission: Impossible 5" Stunt May Be His Most Dangerous

Posted: November 3rd, 2014 by WorstPreviews.com Staff

Tom Cruise may be one of the biggest Hollywood stars, but he still takes his work very seriously. So seriously, that he constantly puts himself in danger to do some of the most difficult and insane stunts in order to create a better film.

For "Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol," he ran down the side of the world's tallest building with just one harness keeping him from falling to his death. And now we have photos from the set of "Mission: Impossible 5," showing Cruise climbing on the outside of a military plane that's flying 5,000 feet in the air.

Check out the photos below, which show a giant camera capturing all the action as Cruise hangs on to the plane's door.

"Mission: Impossible 5" is set to hit theaters on December 25th, 2015.

At his age it may be his last, too.

Dude's batsh*t crazy as well, so doing these stunts isn't a big deal. He probably actually believes Scientology protects him from death.

But I am anticipating MI5.

Yep agreed with @Mink, the dude is batsh*t crazy! Fair play to him though for getting involved, most of the pampered hollywood elite wouldn't!

All I know is when I saw Ghost Protocol, knowing he actually was on the side of that damn building made me jump for the first time in years at a movie when he almost fell. Can't wait for this film.

Well this was the girl who compared celeb nude photo leaks to rape. Clearly she went extreme to cover up her own discretions. Or it's lie and she is just a big mouth like when David O. Russell compared Hunger Games to Hitler. Hollywood isn't that smart anymore. LOL Believe it or not, there was a time when brain cells ran that place.

Thank goodness, even a Welsh born Bale does have some common sense.

He surely could do something Much better that.
Deaft0ne writes:

Lol pap, Bale probably quit because he hates Seth Rogen.

@Sleuth

Every time I have been sabotaged on my tv by a Lena Dunham interview, she always gave me a creepy feeling like she is really f*cked up. Now she admitted she is in this stupid book.

She also looks like she sh*ts like a horse!
Sleuth1989 writes:

@Deaft0ne
Compared to Dunham, Rogen is a damn prince. Personality-wise he seems pretty cool and yeah his movies aren't masterpieces but they are fun. Dunham made a show to make you feel for hippie chicks. She is just obnoxious as sh*t, part of the group of women in Hollywood who make their celebrity personas out to be air headed, ass clowns. Not my cup of tea. The way you described her just made it worse though. LOL

@Papillion
Aaron Sorkin had a hard-on for tech innovators. First Suckerberg and now Jobs. And his show The Newsroom has good characters but thematically is just conservative-bashing. I only like his movies for the characters because otherwise he is a one-sided douche. I think he does bios because he knows he can avoid getting personally invested and causing a stir.

Pap-

Shut up, Walking Dead is amazing and you know it
Deaft0ne writes:
on November 3rd, 2014 at 6:19:36 PM

@Sleuth

I don't hate Seth Rogen, but i'm guessing it might be why Bale bailed on playing opposite him as Steve Jobs.

Seth Rogen has never done a dramatic role and has only done comedies. Maybe Bale thought it was preposterous that Rogen would play Steve Wozniak in what is supposed to be a drama.

I'm sure Rogen is capable of dramatic acting but for this to be his first might have been a bit much for Bale to accept.
Sleuth1989 writes:
on November 3rd, 2014 at 6:54:13 PM

@Deaft0ne
Did Bale confirm that's why he left? I mean no offense to Bale but the guy needs to ease up. DiCaprio didn't leave when he worked with Jonah Hill. You need goofy guys to counterbalance the dramatic ones in films so they aren't sticks in the mud. Bale is a great actor but you have to admit he has a bit of an ego on him which is paeticuarly of the reason he didn't even get along with David O. Russell who he worked with twice. The guy didn't match Bale's style but he got an Oscar first time around so it was almost an obligation to return for AH. Just some thoughts. Just saying if that's the reason Bale is being a bit of a prick especially given he's never tried to do comedy so having a comedy guy would allow more breathing space in the story.

Deaft0ne writes:

@Cramberry

That's the whole point, numbnuts. It was filmed over 12 years to show the cast playing a family. Real life is not explosions and car chases and superheroes.

Boyhood is a film anyone on the planet can relate to. The only requirement is having a heart and a mind.

Ya cynical c*nt!
