Producer Gives "Halloween 3" Update

Producer Gives "Halloween 3" UpdateSubmit Comment
Back in May, it was reported that Dimension Films was once again attempting to make "Halloween 3D," which is rumored to be a sequel to Rob Zombie's "Halloween" movies.

Now comes word from producer Malek Akkad that the third film is still on track and is moving forward. "It's been a joy to work with so many creative people - ten ['Halloween'] films," he said. "We're working on eleven as we speak. We're working on a script right now. A new draft - perfect timing - is supposed to hit the day before Halloween. Hopefully my Halloween night reading will be a good read."

The last installment, which was Zombie's "Halloween 2," earned only $39 million worldwide. The third film was supposed to be directed by Patrick Lussier (Drive Angry 3D), but it seems that Dimension Films is heading in a different direction.

f*ck Rob Zombie.

No really, I despise that filthy untalented white trash loser and his equally disgusting and untalented wife. Dude totally ruined Halloween, too. Could have been a decent remake but he turned it into a psycho slasher flick with no story.

Alex is waiting for that gay remake of House of a Thousand Corpses, entitled Ass of a Thousand d*cks.

Just kidding.

They are NEVER EVER going to make anything as good as the original one they have been chasing there ass since it all them years ago they should give up already

i suppose tho that a Halloween 3D had been on the table ever since Friday the 13th 3D came along the nightmare on elm street 6 i think it was both rubbish one thing the 3d affects have to be better but i bet the story's total crap

how many times must one say it? the original halloween 3 sucked balls and was like the E.T. game for atari, a slap in the face to consumers...'we're gonna make HALLOWEEN 3 but everybody's gonna pay tickets thinking michael myers will be in it, only to get ripped off *evil laugh*'....fast forward to the grand ending where those evil producers get a very evil box office report and find out just how evil it performed

No Zombie? Then this film can f*ck off.

I forgot about Rob Zombie for a while. Thought he died. Guess not.

RZ f*cked Halloween up. It was so bad.

But hey, at least Devil's Rejects was a decent homage to the gritty 70s horrors.

thought zonbies first was pretty damn good IMO

the second was...well...not

no reboot movie will be good as the originals...its common knowledge...like nolans batman trilogy, you just gotta take it for what it is, and interpretation that stands on its own

as for a 3rd? sure...why stop at 10 right?

I like Zombie's spin on Halloween. His two films are brutal and edgy, if not a bit too red-necky, but I find them waaaaay more interesting than the many watered-down sequels before it.
