Today we have the trailer for the upcoming "A Merry Friggin Christmas" comedy, starring the late Robin Williams. The new movie is one of the few projects that the actor was working on at the time of his death. Check out the trailer below.
Plot: The film follows Boyd Mitchler (Joel McHale) and his wife Luann (Lauren Graham) as they spend a dreaded Christmas with Boyd's father Mitch (Williams) and his family of misfits. Upon realizing that he has left all of his son's gifts at home, Boyd hits the road with his father and younger brother in an attempt to make the 8-hour round trip before sunrise.
"A Merry Friggin Christmas" is directed by Tristram Shapeero ("Community," "Parks and Recreation) from a script by Phil Johnson (Wreck-It Ralph). It's set to hit theaters on November 7th.

Williams is the dead guy, right?

Nah, I'm just kidding. Terrible thing to have to happen to a decent guy, even if he was a rabid left-winger. But the movie...nah. Dude hasn't been funny since Mrs Doubtfire. Kind of sad too to have see him one last time in such a dour, depressing role.
I kind of wonder how many people will actually watch this movie because Robin Williams died. ... for his comedic legacy, I hope it's more National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation and not so much Deck the Halls/Christmas with the Kranks.
