"Da Vinci Code 3" Pushed Back By Almost a Year

"Da Vinci Code 3" Pushed Back By Almost a YearSubmit Comment
Sony Pictures recently announced that the third "Da Vinci Code" installment, called "Inferno," will be released on December 18th, 2015. But now comes word that Sony decided to move the film as far from December as possible, likely out of fear of competing with "Star Wars: Episode VII."

"Inferno" has been pushed back by almost a year, all the way to October 14th, 2016. Ron Howard is returning to direct and Tom Hanks will return as Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon. Despite the new release date, filming is still expected to begin in April.

In "Inferno," Langdon awakens in an Italian hospital with amnesia. He teams up with Sienna Brooks, the doctor he hopes will help him recover his memories and prevent a madman from releasing a global plague connected to Dante's Inferno.

I enjoyed the first book for the mysterious romp it was, but the little ginger *sshole from Happy Days totally ruined the movie, as he does with almost every film he has ever made.

No thanks.

Why do people with amnesia never forget how to talk?

Angels and Demons was the best book. They get all samey after that. Inferno is more of the same.

Lightsabers are no match for...crap.

Congrats, Ron.

A trilogy of your own, like your idol--Lucas. Too bad it is bankrupt in story.

I could never sit through either one of these lame movies because all the characters yap exposition non-stop just like all the *ssholes on Criminal Minds and Gilmore Girls.

The only reason Da Vinci code was worth a damn is because the author stole the entire damn story. I can't believe those guys lost that court case.
