I love Heat and Collateral, but dude's quality fell right the f*ck off after Miami Vice. Not sure he still has what it takes to make the movies I dearly love. We'll see, but casting Hemsworth is no good way to start.

Another bland crime film without any of the heart or poignancy of Heat, nor any of the philosophical meanderings of Collateral. I expect another Miami Vice, but thrice as not nice.

Saw this yesterday, well keen to see this, do love a Michael Mann movie so I'm very optimistic on this one.
You'd never seen Ghostbusters before mate?

It was 1984 man! I guess if I hadn't seen it, and watched it recently, compared to the CGI heavy movies of late, it would look a little dated.
BUT I love it, it's an 80's classic, grew up on movies like that, hell I even watched a little Caddyshack last night

This looks decent but MAnn hasn't made a decent flick since The Insider so I ain't seeing this sh*t.

Couple of things worry the sh*t out of me right from the start. I've never seen a Hollywood film where they accurately portray any kind of real hackers. I've come across a few computer science guys from MIT and not one of them looked like the mighty Thor. Another thing is why does the supposed computer hacker from MIT that was in prison have a gun in every other shot. I've liked a lot of Mann's films but this looks about as realistic as Angelina Jolie in Hackers.

Oh and this film is actually named after a f*cking hacker conference in Vegas. I guess they went with this since Hackers has already been used as a title of a sh*tty film about supposed hackers. I hope the Warlock from Die Hard whatever makes a cameo.
Michael Mann movie:
1. Supersmart Genius Hacker with face half shown.
2. Brainiac hacker (Which would be attributed to Lazlo from Real Genius). Check!
3. Exotic locales with panoramic choreography. Check!
4. Melodramatic score to trailer ... a rendition of "Knocking on Heaven's Door" by Bob Dylan, NOT sung by Axel Rose. Check!
5. Government officials obviously paid well to look good in suits, rather than use their brains. Check!
6. Believable and/or interesting plot and/or melodramatic device used to drive the story and/or make the audience care ...... *****
Yep. Expect this one to be rushed in and out of theaters.
