Bryan Singer Confirmed to Direct "X-Men: Apocalypse"

Bryan Singer Confirmed to Direct "X-Men: Apocalypse"Submit Comment
After "X-Men: Days of Future Past" became a huge hit, it was obvious that 20th Century Fox would want to bring director Bryan Singer back for "X-Men: Apocalypse." And now, the studio confirmed that Singer has officially signed on.

Meanwhile, writer Simon Kinberg answered questions about whether "X-Men: Apocalypse" will feature any future mutants like Bishop and Kitty Pryde. He said: "The X-Men film that we're working on now as everybody knows is 'X-Men: Apocalypse' and that really follows the stories of the 'First Class' X-Men. Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Nicholas Hoult, many others of that generation of X-Men. So, in future X-Men films? Perhaps. But in 'Apocalypse' it will really be the continuation of the 'past' of 'Days of Future Past.'"

"X-Men: Apocalypse" is set to hit theaters on May 27th, 2016.

Eh. Give me a week to finally watch DOFP and then I'll judge if this is good or bad. I do miss the adult cast though.

No! f*cking sh*t

so basically next to the cartoon's numerous amount of episodes of apocalypse and the phoenix, i'm guessing we'll get about 0-30 min of total screen time for apocalypse and the four horsemen, maybe less...i'd be happy about this production but there are some major screw ups that tracks all the way back to its first film, it just simply wasn't long enough for as big a universe that it is and the hobbit gets more than that??...bullsh*t

@synthetic1985
Because Jackson was about telling a huge scope story from the Hobbit and events that happened during it from the prefixes. He wanted to tell the source material. Singer and Kimberg just want to take everything they can from the source material, throw it in a blender, and see what they get.

The 3 Singer-directed X-Men movies are great so there's no reason this 4th one won't continue that tradition.

You have to be a true tool to say Days of Future Past isn't a well made movie.

It completely served it's job... it literally fixed the events from The Last Stand.
