"Olympus Has Fallen" Sequel Loses Director

"Olympus Has Fallen" Sequel Loses DirectorSubmit Comment
Back in August it was revealed that "London Has Fallen," which is a sequel to Gerard Butler's "Olympus Has Fallen," hired director Fredrik Bond (Charlie Countryman) with plans of starting production in October.

That didn't leave a lot of time for Bond to come aboard and get everything ready before cameras started rolling. And now comes word that the accelerated schedule scared Bond, who decided to drop out of the project.

Search for his replacement is already underway. It's expected that a new helmer will be hired within the next 72 hours.

There are other issues that the new director will have to keep in mind. Because of Butler's other obligations, "London Has Fallen" will shoot in October for four weeks with Morgan Freeman, Aaron Eckhart, Angela Bassett and Melissa Leo. Production will then shut down and pick up again in February, when Butler will become available.

"London Has Fallen" is set to hit theaters on October 2nd, 2015.

Now if they'll just lose the movie altogether.

Why are they dragging the old cast along with Butler? No one gives a sh*t about Freeman or Bassett, especially. Why not a new cast? Why even make this sh*t? I mean, OHF was....watchable, but no Die Hard, and Butler has all the charisma of a truck. Not like there was much story either, unlike Die Hard herein the hero has to run through a gauntlet of onstacles like an old video game just to get to the main boss...waste of time and money.

They should’ve re-titled it : DIRECTOR HAS FALLEN
