"Arrow" Hires Actor to Play Ra's al Ghul, It's NOT Liam Neeson

Posted: September 6th, 2014 by WorstPreviews.com Staff
"Arrow" Hires Actor to Play RaSubmit Comment
During the San Diego Comic-Con, it was revealed that the main villain in the third season of "Arrow" TV series will be Ra's al Ghul, the character that Liam Neeson played in "Batman Begins."

Just recently, Neeson was asked if he had any interest in reprising the role on television. He said that he would do it "in a heartbeat." But that was probably just talk, because it was just announced that Ra's al Ghul will be played by actor Matthew Nable (Killer Elite, Riddick).

The new season of "Arrow" is set to premiere on October 8th.

Good, good, good. Liam is too good for this kind of television. Go do True Detective or Hannibal instead, Liam. Stay way from this DC tv sh*t. It'll rot your brain and rape your career.

Probably? Nah, they were going to hire Liam, middle-aged god of middle-aged action movies, but they went with the other guy instead of the awesome, acclaimed actor who nailed the role under Nolan.

Pffft. Who taught you how to think?

(In all reality, Liam is too old for the role in that youngish venue, but still.)

Hopefully the guy will be good. But just once I would have liked to see a Middle Eastern actor play Ra's Al Ghul. The guy's name itself is an Arabic for crying out loud.

It should have been the actor Faran Tahir. Or maybe even Cliff Curtis, he did good as a bad guy in an Arnold movie and even as a Mexican bad guy in Training day

Mink/Boogiel -

You two are a pair of self righteous idiots.

This actor they hired could still just be a decoy for now, with neeson only being revealed as the true Ras at a later date

@Vincere. Good point, but I don't think it will ever happen.

He actually looks like Liam Neeson and Gary Oldman had a babby.
