"24" Movie May Still Happen

Posted: September 2nd, 2014 by WorstPreviews.com Staff
"24" Movie May Still HappenSubmit Comment
Before 20th Century Fox brought back "24" with "24: Live Another Day," there were plenty of talks to develop a movie based on the popular TV series. That never happened, but now those talks have started again.

According to TVLine, Imagine Entertainment has put together a pitch to bring to the studio. Apparently everyone is happy with how "24: Live Another Day" has been performing, which is why Imagine believes Fox may want to continue the franchise on the big screen.

But Fox may want to continue the actual TV series. Back in July, the studio expressed interest in doing so. Whether a movie or a continuation of the show happens, it's clear that "24" is far from finished.

It ain't gonna happen. More than likely they'll do another limited run. That's the vibe coming out of FOX, or so says 24spoilers. And I believe them. LAD barely passed muster and sunk in the middle ratings wise. Not gonna happen.

And Kiefer said he's probably done with the show, as well, so there may not even be another limited run. Doesn't bother me. LAD sucked. Didn't get good until nearly the end.

But I do love that deleted Tony Almeida prison scene. Perhaps he'll return in the next mini-run.

The ending is stupid. Also, as much as I want the 24 movie to become a reality, I don't think it gonna happen anytime soon.

I can see it now...Tony travels to Russia to retrieve Jack and they team up again with Chloe. Belchick appears. Mandy returns. All scores are settled. Happy ending. Jack finally finishes that game of Chess from season one with his daughter...

Probably not though because by this time next year, or in 2016, we'll be at war with Mother Russian and most of Europe will be coruscating brightly under a thick blanket of scintillating ashes.

Eau de flambe, the newest thing out of the EU.

Overkill comes to mind.

There's been more than enough by now.

I believe everything comes to full circle...... If they are going to have another season, limited series or movie, they should go back where everything started, LA. With all the old and surviving cast, they should come to full terms with the Russians that was left on the plate on season 8.... And this time, they should kill off some MAJOR character..... Haven't check Live Another Day, but since is a 12 episodes, I know is not so good with the inmense myth arc that this series has keeping going on in the last decade!

"24" Movie May Still Happen - Why ?

Keifer needs to learn from those Die Hard movies Bruce Willis does to prove to himself that Demi Moore didn't emasculate him when they first got married.
